So, uh, Westwatch is a wonderful collaboration with the folks at Blizzard to do a two-hour, uh, actual play- ... a Daggerheart game, using the Daggerheart system from Darrington Press.

Uh, we are going to be playing a tabletop game for two hours as our Overwatch characters, playing characters in the game.

So you're basically watching a live, uh, like, game night improvised recreation of all these characters coming to Cassidy's game night, and then playing through the game as themselves as the characters that they made.

So there's like a website free RPG day.com. It's like a whole like holiday almost, if you will, where this year it was June 27th, 2026.

And yeah, The UK had their own day and it's got sponsors between Doctors Without Borders and all these other TTRPG companies like Cobalt Press and Darrington Press and the Story Engine, WizKids, blah, blah, blah, all this stuff.

And a lot of local game stores link up with this and you can just get TTRPGs for free.

And so on the 12th of September, on my brother and I's 19- on me and my brother's 19th Americaversary to the day, we will be beginning our third chapter of Voltaire's Aces.

The series officially supported by Darrington Press, run in the Daggerheart system.

"Am I gonna like this system?"

system?"Uh, and our friends at Darrington Press said, "Just trust us, like, we think that you'll do really well with this."

Yeah.

I'm not going to go all into that yet.

So what I've decided to do is I've printed out this Sablewood location, which is available for free over on the Darrington Press website.

And I'm just going to use it as a bit of a guide to help shape a couple of scenes that I'm going to go play through, really just to get a feel for the game myself and to give you all a bit of an idea about how this might be to play solo.

A cursory glance of this Sablewood location is really intriguing to me.

There are a couple of like concepts, nothing that concrete.

And that surprises me because I do think there is a really procedural solo mode in here.

Darrington Press there is a really solid procedural solo mode in here when you roll with fear roll a dice on this table and the GM does one of these things or you know whatever like you could have quite a solid actually pretty simple but solid procedure and mechanism in here to make a really good solo mode for this game certainly for the combat at least if not building the whole story That is it from me today.
