The MCU X-Men Are Here - What Comes NeXt? (Episode 8x32)

all right but uh let's just get to it let's start at the top um i know that i had the mummy four was in there for matt as his topic and we are going to talk about that but i do want to talk real quick and matt's a good place to start about the god of war casting news because we didn't really address that but uh there was a god of war casting shake up ryan hearst got hurt they had to find somebody else and boy did they find somebody else matt muted or something

muted in prison there we go okay

i

mean what what a great way to start so i know the rumors but are has that been locked in is that a done deal last time i checked he's

uh it's in talks is okay so we haven't been

confirmed okay so dave batista is the name I heard before of, you know, one of those things of like, oh, wouldn't this be cool? And then it actually started gaining traction of, oh, this is actually like a real thing.

And now if it's in talks, having Batista jump in as Kratos is huge.

That's a big deal.

Look, I've really enjoyed Batista's work like post WWE.

I mean, obviously Drax comes to mind immediately.

And he's wonderful as Drax.

But I've actually really enjoyed several of his movies, even outside of the MCU.

And so I think this is a, look, it's so unfortunate that Ryan Hurst got hurt and the way it happened too, right? Because I mean, it was just like in the middle of shooting.

So it wasn't even at the beginning where they hadn't filmed anything.

And it's just really unfortunate.

And there are more casting changes coming with season two anyway, because of the time jump between the games.

So, you know, it's like this feels like a series that's going to be kind of ever-changing, especially over that first course of the two-season season.

It really seems like they're going to take a game per season.

But, man, you talk about a silver lining.

I'd be cool with Batista jumping in there.

It does make me worry about the Gears of War movie I've wanted forever because I want him to play Marcus Fiennes.

I've been doing that for a

decade.

No, he can't.

Hey, you are stepping on the wrong territory, anime boy.
