A standard procedure.
I mean, they're, they're pretty easily identified, black and yellow, so we figured, oh, easy-peasy, we'll take an Uber to the port, uh, the shipping port.
He drove for a few minutes then canceled the ride.
Okay, it happens.
But then a second driver accepted and, and took 15 minutes to get to us, and then when he got to us he told us to cancel the ride.
That was really, really odd.
Uh, with the delays, we were in danger of actually arriving outside of our arrival window.
Uh, well, not the cruise.
Don't, don't worry.
I mean, [laughs] we got there a day in advance just to make sure we weren't gonna miss the cruise.
But, uh, they schedule everyone's arrival so, uh, the embarkation isn't overloaded with people.
And, uh, well, I was actually lifting the luggage into the trunk when he refused the ride.
I was p- uh, bothered.
See? I, I didn't say a bad word.
Fortunately, there was a licensed cab, uh, just dropping off some passengers, and, uh, he saw the whole thing.
He waved us over and I, I ...
He figured we were frustrated, and late to an extent.
Uh, we loaded the luggage, expressed to him where we were going, the sailing port, not the airport, which I think he might have been slightly confused with.
Yeah.
Yeah.
