Canada's Got Talent

Buried truth I carry inside

... uh, that she sang on, uh, Canada's Got Talent.

This burden so heavy.

Uh, so Dee Dee is, um, from the Abegweit First Nation in PEI currently living in Nova Scotia.

So any hip-hop dancers, that was his beginning.

He's made appearances on shows like NBC's World of Dance, Canada's Got Talent.

After high school, he moved to LA to pursue his education with UCLA, got a bachelor's, a BFA, a BA, I'm sorry, in dance.

And then he pursued his professional career shortly after, working in TV and film.

Woo.

Carly Rae Jepsen was really mean to Cole at Canada's Got Talent, and I promised him that if I ever fucking meet her in real life, I'll beat her up.

Almost 9% of that sentence was accurate.

Team number one was the only ones able to get that one.

I had started focusing on social media because that summer when I was in Edinburgh, I was really inspired by some shows I saw, and our, my agent at William Morris was like, "Hey, you know, we'd really love to see you do, like, a TV variety show." And I was like, "All right.

We'll do Canada's Got Talent, see how it goes." So we had started working on this Canada's Got Talent thing, and the work I did to set that up had started to juice the algorithm.

Mm-hmm.

'Cause I thought, "You know, well, I'll do... put some time into social media because it's all vote based, and so we should have some place for people to go." I had zero interest in social media before that.
