Semi-shocking depending on the circumstance of how you kind of read where this roster is going moving forward.

But I'll read the official report from ESPN that says the Milwaukee Bucks wave guard Kevin Porter Jr., on Monday after a 20-25-26 in which he led the team in assists per game and ranked second in scoring.

Although injuries limited Porter to 38 games last season, the 6'5 guard was productive when available.

The Bucs had a surplus of guards as they retooled in the first year without two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was traded to the Miami Heat in the offseason.

Waving Porter should open up more playing time for younger backcourt performers such as rookie Braden Burries and 20-year-old Kasperi Chakashonis, who will complement returning guard ryan rollins and 2025 all-star tyler hero yakishota's a hero came to milwaukee in the altitucumpo trade the bucks selected buries out of arizona with the 10th overall pick in this year's draft this one as i mentioned beforehand i would say is shocking to those who are heavy believers in kevin porter jr and not as shocking to those who are not necessarily attached to kevin porter jr and more so understanding of the financial implications of where this came from right if we're just going to go based off of the finances of it can't release 20 million dollars in dead money in the form of kyle kuzma can't release 14 million dollars in dead money of either caris lavert or even more than that of Gary Trent Jr. now that he's on an extensive deal worth about $14 million per season, right? I didn't think it would be easy to give up Jericho Sims, especially when there's a world where this team runs double big a lot with Kahlil Ware and Myles Turner making Jericho Sims the definitive backup center.

And This is a team that does really need a rim-running play-finishing center when you have Kahlil Ware and Myles Turner, who are both very redundant as far as being floor-spacing bigs.

And Bogodjou Markovic is a pretty solid backup big as well, but not really a play-finisher big.

He's somebody that also showed in the Adriatic League he can shoot the three a little bit, but is more kind of like a rebounder, grungy, under-the-basket, offensive rebound, put-the-ball-back-up type of player.

or athletic pop as far as play finishing concern in that, in that four man rotation at the big man spot outside of Jericho Sims, right? So he's a change of pace guy.

By the way, there might have been a little bit of hyperbole in last episode as far as Pete Nance and what he could mean to the open market and so on and so forth.

I just think that his skill set is something that would be well-granted on the open market.

He is in his final year of two-way eligibility, so this could be his last season as a member of the Bucks in any capacity.

So basically he either has to make the roster or he's going to have to be on a different team.

But with Jumarcovich, I think the final preseason game, and I think preseason in general, he was able to show off a few things that made it where He was worth it.
