Well, all right, so much for that.

It's a Tyrese Haliburton, Trae Young build.

That's a lot of assists and I get it, 'cause you can withstand the turnover hit when your other guy isn't one.

So-

I think once Trae Young was traded, that was, it was understood.

When you talking about a dynamic guy like Trae who was now traded onto Washington, it's kind of who's next up.

Now, going back of what you saying, you were stamped as that.

AJ's got a similar situation, but I think it's harder for AJ to win Rookie of the Year than DP, because he's going to have to adjust to playing without the basketball.

He is a very poor catch-and-shoot shooter, and there is no one more ball dependent than, than Trae Young.

Anthony Davis, if healthy, is someone that needs the basketball as well.

And so I just don't know how easy it is for AJ to tailor his game to the NBA without the ball always being in his hands.

Now, Trae Young can make his life easier in some ways, but AJ's the type of guy who needs the ball, and needs his dribbles.

He needs his rhythm.

He's pounding the ball and he's gonna put a hole in the floor.

Right.

I think the one discrepancy I've seen with other people's lists, because I think a lot of people have been doing this exercise today, is whether or not you protect Trae Young.

And I've seen people say, well, maybe this is like an out from Trae's contract a couple years from now if they feel like they have the answer already.

Like, let's say... whatever happens this year, the drafting middle of the pack and they draft a point guard prospect who they feel would be ready to take the reins is that you're out from Trey Young's contract.

They'll be a lot faster in transition.

And I'm looking at the point guard position.

Ink Trae Young to a four-year, $211 million contract.

I think he's going to go out there and show why this Wizards organization has so much trust in him being that head honcho, the alpha of this young pack.

That's Cleveland, of course, Detroit, Boston, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Orlando, Miami, and Indiana, and even Washington.

Yes, the Washington Wizards have ambitions of becoming relevant with Trae Young, Anthony Davis, and the number one overall pick, AJ Dinwiddie.

You can quibble with this and whether every one of those teams is actually going to get there, or if they're actually gonna make the play-in at all, but that's not really the point.

The point is that they have enough talent and enough belief to make the standing extremely difficult to predict for anybody covering the NBA.

And the roster is as follows.

At guard, Trey Young, Trey Johnson, Bob Carrington, and Trey Mann.

At wing, A.J. DeBonsa, Keyshawn George, Biloko Labali, and Will Riley.

And by the way, this is in no particular – I don't want comments coming at me and saying, well, you listed Bilal as the third wing.

And I think it's, it's so fitting that you got to meet probably one of the coaches that's gonna work the most with the man we're gonna talk about in this video today.

Coming up, Trae Young might be the single best thing that's happened to Alex Sarr's offensive development since he's entered the NBA.

Before that, Sarr's putting an emphasis on getting bigger and stronger, potentially addressing one of the biggest weaknesses in his game for the first two years.

But first, the numbers show that Sarr's already made a massive year two leap, and there's plenty of reasons to believe that he's nowhere close to being finished.

I, I'm excited for him in year three.

Him playing alongside Trae Young will unlock Sarr and his potential of being a rim roller, a lob threat.

But I, I do wonder also him playing alongside AD.

You know how, like, all these other teams, you gotta build the whole damn team around the guy.

It's like, "Oh, I got Trae Young.

Well, I better have this kind for a center and this for a shooter and this for this.

Oh, I got Anthony Davis.

I may have another client on your, on your roster, or my guy might get drafted to your team next year, whatever, right? Like, but these guys, we've now had this happen, and it's happened a couple times in restricted free agency, where it's like these guys have a...

I'll give you a perfect example of how agents work, right? Go look at that contract that Trae Young signed with Washington.

Like, there's nobody in the world that thought he was getting that contract, and no, as far as I know, probably no other suitors to give him that contract.
