Buckets is back with a deep dive into the 2026 NBA Draft! Action Network NBA betting experts Matt Moore and Brandon Anderson team up to give out their best bets for Tuesday's event and more. Together…
So y- you mentioned, like, obviously we're gonna talk about the guys we like, the guys we don't like, the guys we think should go high, that we don't think should go high, and the bets.
For me, I just wanna preface this with, like, this draft stuff is hard and it's like, who cares what we think? Who cares what our evaluation is? We don't know what the teams are.
I'll let you comment on your process, but, uh, for me, betting the draft, I am mostly looking at betting against certainty and betting kind of against the, the, the big push intels that are out there, just because I'm like, "I don't know, man.
But I, I'm going very light on these and just kinda having fun, extra reasons to pay attention during draft night.
MO?Um, so I mean, I'm doing pretty standard units on anything that I'm betting unless it's like a really wild outcome.
The logic-based bets are b- are like a full unit, 'cause it's like betting a night of basketball for me.
The stuff like I have bet Boozer one, Dabonta two, Peterson three, Cam, or w- Caleb four.
I have bet that at like 30 to 1, uh, because I think that's the order it should be in.
The, the biggest thing I wanna talk to you about today, 'cause I think this is like worth talking about, okay? I've done intel stuff on the draft before, and we've had some massive hits on the show and we've had some massive misses.
Like a great example of a massive hit was that I was able to hear very early on that Scottie Barnes was like going to Toronto, and that was gonna happen.
Um, I was going to, like, I think that there's value in, in being able to find when you hear about those kind of things.
