The guys are back but without a game to recap as the Bills travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams under the Monday Night Football lights! Josh & Luka sit down for the pod with a rare preview format…

It's always nice when Monday Night Football's a good game, and we're all Bills fans, so we would love it if it was Bills-Dolphins.

But when, even if it was a team that we didn't like, if it was two really good teams playing on Monday night, it's just nice to go back to work, if you work on Columbus Day, and go back to work and realize Monday Night Football's the carrot at the end of the day.

Luca, we did our live show on Wednesday, and I'd say you and I were mostly pessimistic about this game.

I wanna start with the injury report, and the guys who we know are out, and we, the guys who we know are gonna be playing for the first time this season, and then really maybe start off with the guys who are questionable.

What is your read on DJ Moore, who comes into this game questionable on the heels of no practice Thursday, no practice Friday, very limited practice on Saturday?
The read honestly feels, uh, like the floor.
You know, just being realistic or what do I expect, um, the floor of the expectations is a Lad McConkie-like, uh, active, where we're going to hear leading up to the game that he is going to be game day active for, uh, specific situations or if certain moments arise, you know, kind of deal.
And if anyone paid attention to the Broncos-Chargers game, Lad McConkie had the cleanest uniform in the place.
He never once touched his helmet it appeared and was just essentially a warm body standing on the fie- uh, standing on the sideline, sorry, um, just spectating from that viewpoint rather than being inactive.
Me personally, am I a fan of that? Absolutely not.
I would like to believe if you think you are a quality team, you have other members in that organization that can be useful to you at a greater health.
Doesn't even need to be at the same position, you know, just across the board, game day active.
I would like to think that all NFL teams should have enough people in an organization that, God forbid, you're going through injuries and one or two, three injuries and stuff, and someone is questionable at best, like, "Hey, actually we have this, uh, nickel corner where we're also maybe thin and/or somewhere else," it's like, "Hey, let's, let's have this person active instead because we don't need to be risking this individual being part of, you know, potentially getting things worse and/or on top of it, you know, what are they truly gonna be able to provide us anyways?" So, um, what do I believe is going to be happening with that, reading kind of the tea leaves of it all? Feels like a game day active is gonna be coming.
I don't care for it.
I would really prefer to see him rest a little bit at this moment in time.
We are still early October when it comes to football.
We are not in the November, December, January times of football that, uh, it's more of an all-hands-on-deck situation.
So [coughs] realistically, I don't prefer it, but I ultimately would expect, especially with the Josh Palmer being out situation, um, I feel like we're going to be seeing DJ Moore active and maybe the floor of it is just in a very limited capacity.
