The result of virtuous actions is said to be sattvika and pure.

The result of rajas is pain, while the, while ignorance is the result of tamas.

So we are studying the three constituents of prakriti, of nature, sattva, rajas, and tamas.

And, uh, there are sattvika actions.

For example, actions which are done for the welfare of others, actions which are done as karma yoga, or a puja or a ritual which is done as a worship of God without any particular strong individual desire.

As a regular spiritual discipline, for example.

All of these are sattvik actions, and they all serve to purify the mind, give a kind of pure happiness, increased knowledge.

So that's what is meant by, um, these actions produce a sattvika bhava in the mind.

And then there are actions which are born of desire and thirst and passion and greed and anger, and they follow... and they give result to sorrow.

Uh, so he says, um, rajasas tu phalam duḥkham, pain, conflict, sorrow.

Ajñanam tamasaḥ phalam.

And the result of tamasic actions, which is basically no action or laziness or [laughs] ignorance.

I mean, it increases tamas, ignorance.
