Guṇa

Union means what Swami? What is that state? The

reflection of the Purusha in the Gunas, which evolved from Prakriti, that is union.

Listen, just an example.

The sun is not water, neither is water sun.

The asymmetric dependence.

Gunas depend upon Brahman ontologically.

Brahman does not depend upon the gunas.

The rope does not depend upon or the snake appearance.

And today we are talking about states of mind that shape our reality.

And we're going to introduce, if you haven't heard of it, the concept in the Gita called the Gunas.

And so we'll talk about that.

Yeah, the fascinating thing about the Gunas is that they're very ancient.

This philosophy goes back, I don't know, a few thousand years maybe, and it still holds up today.

You see, this is the, the secret.

Controlled by Rādhā, not by the Gunas.

Only those who are controlled by Rādhikā can become inhabitants of Vṛndāvana.

She is the queen of Vṛndāvana.

The elemental Self is truly his food, his maker being Pradhana, nature.

Therefore, what is composed of the three qualities, Gunas, is the food, but the person within is the feeder.

And for this, the evidence is supplied by the senses.

For animals spring from seed, and as the seed is the food, therefore it is clear that what is food is Pradhana, the seed or cause of everything.

When people follow the Pravriti Dharma, ultimately it is bringing creation to its full manifestation, and then the other path is possible.

Okay? Now he says, that Bhagavan, Though eternally the embodiment of wisdom, prosperity, power, strength, virtue, and affluence assumed his own Vaishnava Maya, which is called Mula Prakriti, represented by the three Gunas.
