That Bindu represents the point of transcendence, the point that's between, that's beyond waking, dreaming, and sleeping, the point that's beyond the cycles of life, the Gunas.

But you also throw in the Gunas in this as well, in terms of associating things like Rajas and Tamas and Sattva as a Guna quality with cardinal fixed and mutable signs.
