Viveka

The discriminating intellect.

When Buddhi is Arpita in Brahman, Viveka, discrimination, reaches its culmination.

Having discriminated the Atman from an Atman, The buddhi has no further work and rests in what

it has discerned as Brahman itself.

The door is always open for the devayat to become the madbhakta.

Through the ripening of Viveka, the Alpamedasa has to become fully Medasa.

Because it is the desire stolen away, displaced.

What is making them go after the desires? And when your desires have been surrendered, the ego is not there to own the desires.

The icha moha deluded person seeks all dualities of pleasure, youth, life, et cetera, through desires Whereas the seeker who wants the freedom from jara marana, moksha requirement, he recognizes in the same body the dualities as imperishable-- as perishable, and the atma is the only imperishable, which is the reason why we are able to even know what is happening in this body.

So the viveka vairagya developed by s-the seeker is the culmination for all the papa.

Whose papa has entered.

Antagatam, papa antagatam.

Because if you can just get in one class or one listening, you know, everybody would be abhinyani, right? So we have to listen again and again because of our vasanas and our level of, you know, adhikaritvam.

So the biggest explanation here is Viveka.

He talks about the discrimination.

We studied in Tattva Bodha how Viveka is very important.

What is the discrimination here between Atma and Anatma? What is real and what is not real? Satya, Mithya.

These are all the words used in Vedanta.

Alpamedhasa as a hrsvapratna, means limited understanding.

The Alpamedhasam, those who, because of their karmas, which has been stolen, which has stolen that jnana, Krita Jnana cannot exercise Viveka that distinguishes the finite and the infinite.

The Alpamedas is the most compassionate and philosophically precise characterization of those who

are approaching the Anya Devata.
