Another episode of the Beer Fridge Podcast! We chat about the upcoming **16th & 17th October event**, Brew Toon, mystery beers, Patreon, some questionable 2020 haircuts and plenty more beer chat! 👍…
Speaking of very good, I am quaffing my way through a can of El Juicy.
As you said, Joe, a big hitter at 7.1%.
Chinook, Amarillo, Eldorado.
I fucking love Eldorado.
I don't know why Eldorado's bottom of that list, because the amount of Eldorado that's in that is so high up at the top.
Like, it's packed with Eldorado.
Yeah, it's really, really good.
It's got a really nice floral kind of vibe, and a little bit dank.
Really, really juicy.
It's fucking good.
We've spoken a million times about breweries going into supermarkets and how much I hate the take on cans and stuff.
You feel bad paying two and a bit quid for a can.
It's
fucking so good.
One thing I will say about Aldi, though, that I've noticed, and I'm sure some of my colleagues would agree, is...
That beer that you're probably drinking right now is, I think that was packaged two weeks ago.
So a lot of supermarkets, what they'll do is they'll get the beer and it'll go to a holding facility and then it gets distributed amongst that.
What we'll do is they'll pick up the beer and it's on the shelves within that week.
I thought it was going to be next week.
But no, that LGC, I can say that was super fresh.
That's interesting and obviously good to hear.
So i was in asda at the weekend and i got a seven brothers crush um i think i came in for a ddh or a double ip anyway i've had it before i had it when it was first on the shelf it was awesome loved it had it at the weekend it was it was just not being kept right it was just it was awful i put it i put it in the sink it was that bad and i know and it's i knew for a fact it wasn't the brewer's fault it was just it's been sitting on a shelf in a warehouse just festering away and just getting worse and worse and worse so do you hear that guys are sending beers to those guys and they'll put it on the shelf within at least two weeks that's brilliant.
