So I'm not sure the last time you've walked into a school in the United States is, but I can tell you as a teacher, I'm shocked when I go into different school buildings to see they're taking the shelving out of the libraries.

The books basically only go on the outer wall now, and the rest of the space is kind of where students can hang out, read.

You had to use the Dewey decimal system and figure out where the book was located.

These kids, if I said, Hey, look at the Dewey decimal system, I would guarantee there's no one born after the year 2000 would even understand how to do that.

Right? So if we are removing the books from the libraries, if our search engines that we used to be able to find cited papers from the 80s and 90s on no longer show that information anymore, instead give us an artificial intelligence response that assumes that is the correct answer.

then not only is it generalized intelligence and interesting terminology generalized intelligence actually might imply that they're trying to do that to humans yes they want us to just have a general concept of what it is and not have a deepening understanding which then tells me you're going after the fabric of what it means to be human and dehumanizing the soul Yeah.

Well, what they're going at in in getting rid of libraries, you know, there was that story out that that certain artificial intelligence companies were buying up old rare book copies, scanning them as data to feed their AI and then pulping the actual hard copy book.

And the other thing they're doing, I think, is – I don't know about you guys, but I get the feeling that this destruction, this deliberate destruction of our analog records, our recorded history, is a preparation step to getting full-scale warfare against humanity itself, to exterminate it.

And I don't see any way forward through this And they're talking about regulation now.

All regulation means is they're going to turn over monopoly control to the few companies that already control this stuff.

How do you regulate something that is not owned by a country or an individual? LLMs by its nature is going to be something that takes on a life of its own.
