Always Be Scouting Episode 18: Breaking Down an Expert C2C Draft w/Evan & Jim from DFF.

So if everyone doesn't know, I'm gonna explain C2C really quick.

So you have your dynasty league where all you have your NFL, uh, players on your NFL team.

Devy is where you're picking mostly guys that probably have NFL potential.

They have some little, uh, CFF potential.

I'm sorry, they have, they have, yeah, they have very little college...

They're not gonna put up that many college points for you because the difference is on a devy you have a spreadsheet where your players are dormant until they get drafted into the NFL.

C2C is where you have your players that you draft just like your devy players, but they're giving you points throughout the week, like on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and stuff like that.

So you're getting points not only on your NFL side with your, uh, from your NFL players, but through your college players as well.

So that said, you're gonna target players that can produce, uh, that are gonna be able to produce, uh, in college and eventually get to the NFL and produce in the NFL.

But then you're also gonna pick players that are only gonna be players that are gonna produce in college, and that might not make the NFL or might make the NFL but not see the field as much as your superstars.

So what we're gonna do is we draft, we're in a live draft right now, okay.

We're in round 30, I believe.

We're gonna go over the first 10 rounds.

Now, the way I like to handle my, uh, C2C, uh, draft, and I'm gonna let Evan and Jim throw theirs out there as well, is I like to target my players that I ha- feel strong about devy-wise, but also are going to produce in the NFL.

For an example, I'll go over my pick, which will be one of those players.

Uh, uh, Evan's got one, and I believe Jim has one as well, in the first round.

So the first 10 rounds you wanna target those players that are gonna produce, produce in the, uh, in college, and then eventually produce in, uh, the, uh, NFL.

So you're building a pipeline of players to throw onto your dynasty roster.

When you get into the later rounds like round 11 through 25, say, or 22, you're gonna target CFF, uh, uh, college fantasy football players.

So those are guys that are strictly gonna give you points every week in college.

They have very little to none, uh, NFL potential, but they're gonna give you points to help you with your, your roster on, on Saturday or Thursday, Friday, h- how the games are played out, depending if it's a G5 school or, or the big conferences.

Then when you hit the later rounds, 26 to the end, some leagues go to 35, some leagues go to 40, our, I think our league goes to 45, you wanna go back to targeting those devy players.

You wanna get those freshmens that weren't picked in the first 10 picks.

Um, maybe some guys that are s- going to be, uh, sophomores or juniors that really didn't get to see the field but now are gonna have a chance because the person in front of them has graduated and gone into the NFL.

So that's how I break it down.
