Acoustic Alternatives with Katie Greene and John Bommarito

So our first time that we ever did something like this together was back in 2018.

And that was a year after I had discovered you approximately or after I saw you at the Ann Arbor Art Fair and their open mic where, again, you did two songs.

And you were one of two people that I said, you must come visit me.

And luckily for me, we've become friends in that time.

And you rarely say no if you can pull this off.

So I'm grateful that you made time before you're heading back towards home, which is now in...

Traverse City area.

Traverse City.

So she's

back in Michigan, away from Nashville, returned to the state that you were born in.

But why Traverse City?

Yeah, well, Traverse City has always been a place that I've come back to multiple times a year, even since I've moved to Nashville.

And then I met my partner across in Oregon, actually.

We met so random, but he lives there.

So it was just time to kind of come back home and try it out.

Okay, because

you can always drive to Nashville and do things down there again.

Exactly.

There's really cheap flights from Grand Rapids to Nashville.

Really? So I'm keeping, you know, my community there.

I'm going back regularly.

But, you know, sometimes you got to follow your heart.

That's great.

Well, I'm happy for you.

I hope that that works out.
