One of my sponsees celebrated a year of sobriety, and I, I left the conference last night.
I drove 45 minutes to my home group, and I, uh, had the privilege of presenting her with her medallion.
Then I drove back to the conference, and she's someone who, um, is about 10 years older than me.
And about 16 months ago she just admitted she was struggling and asked if I'd go through the book with her.
She said, "I want what you have, so I'm gonna do whatever I need to do," and she did.
So I'm still coming off of that high of, uh, having such a, a magical night for her.
