An Interview with Danny Minton for Congress TX-6

So Arlington is very activated because all the voting polls are being cut.

It seems like a full citywide.

Jim Ross is mayor.

Jim Ross is also doing town halls.

What does that impact you in the sense of how do you see them organizing around making sure people get out to vote?

I mean, we're going to have to make sure that everybody knows exactly where they can vote.

I was I was hoping for a little bit more on the ride share program.

I actually signed up to do it and I was like, I'm going to take some people to the polls.

I didn't realize that the ride share was only on two different days of the election, like the last day of early voting and then the day of the election.

So those are days I'm going to be out.

So I can't do the ride share.

I was hoping for a little more of that, but.

I hope to God that people find a way to get to the polls, you know, bring your friends, bring your family.

But I don't think it's going to slow anybody down.

I think people are kind of upset.

They know what's going on.

We've been in the national news.

You know, we have the spotlight of the world right now.

And I think that, yes, people might have to wait a little more in line than they used to because of the poll closings.

But quite honestly, again, I think it's that poking of the bear.

Yeah.

You know, it's maybe, you know, a little more resistance now, but I think the people are ready for, you know, their plan.

I think October 19th is going to be crazy.

Because

everybody's saying, get out and vote the very first day.
