Now, without further ado, let's go ahead and talk about the Philadelphia 76ers because, uh, last season Philly finished the year 45 and 37, which was good for seventh out east.

They ended up making it to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they were bounced in four games by the World B's New York Knicks.

Now, Joel Embiid ended up playing a grand total of 45 games for the team, which includes playoffs.

But Bruce, there seems to be some really interesting reinforcements added to the roster this off-season, wouldn't you say?

I mean, obviously the big personnel changes during the off-season grabbed all the headlines.

Heck Portier are now on the team, along with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and B.J. Edgecombe, uh, you know, on a team that won a first-round playoff series last season and, well, yeah.

The Sixers also acquired, you know, LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Dewayne, and Anfernee Simons.

And now the Sixers really look like one of the top two teams in the East with this crew.

And yeah, there's gonna be some adjustments, Embiid's health and playing style are likely to be big issues.

Can Joel run up and down the court with the other guys? 'Cause this team is gonna be a team that is very effective if they can push the pace.

Can he stay on the court for more than the 38 regular season games that he played last year? You mentioned he had seven in the playoffs.

And what about soon-to-be 42-year-old LeBron James, who begins his 24th season? I mean, he's remarkable, but is he indestructible? I mean, look, last year it looked like Embiid was passing the torch and the Sixers were becoming Maxey's team.

But with Jaylen and LeBron joining, can this really be Maxey's team? Uh, and does it even matter? I mean, I say it probably doesn't, 'cause Tyrese seems like a guy who's willing to adjust his role.
