Of course, we've been asking for the worst and oldest TVs in Adelaide.

The government says the changes would give people more control over what they see online and make social media companies more responsible for how their platforms work.

An investigation has found that some LG Smart TVs may collect a surprising amount of information about what happens in people's homes.

Researchers say the TVs can record audio, track what people watch, scan for other devices on the home wifi network, and send some of that information back to LG.

The TVs also use a system called Automatic Content Recognition, or ACR, to identify what is being watched and use that information for advertising.

LG denies that its TVs record ordinary conversations and says voice recording only happens when users activate voice controls, while ACR is optional.

And Apple has unveiled its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, marking the first major product launch under new CEO John Ternus.

So, uh, uh, LG is allegedly snooping on users while the TV is off.

So apparently if the TV is hacked a certain way, the on-device microphone can record audio even when it's on standby, right? You've got that home screen kinda thing happening, and can scan Wi-Fi networks for nearby devices and location data.

And I got a question that you have possibly answered in the past.

I've got an 83-inch LG OLED TV 2024.

So do any of your viewers know how to tell LG just to be quiet? I would appreciate it.

Does Sony do this also? Are all the smart TV makers doing it? I would love to just buy an OLED monitor.

Tony, this is a story that I think you sent out to the team.

If you have an LG TV It can capture audio and video continuously, record clear audio from as far as 70 feet away, save text transcripts of conversations, scan every device on your Wi-Fi network, access your NAS, store data when off, and send later.

So this is like it can basically do everything.

It's just a surveillance tool.

These companies are government prostitutes.

And so I am sure there's a connection between the agenda of surveillance and control and the fact that all these smart devices are complete rubbish to use now.

And so if you have an LG TV, considering that's the one spotlighted right now, go into your settings and immediately disconnect it from your Internet.

And if possible, sell it, get rid of it, go back and find something that's not so smart.

So even if it were, I'm just making stuff up now, but even if it was the same resolution, but 70 Hertz versus 72 Hertz, you'd still have to make a small change.

But to continue, but they wanted audio from the HDMI splitter passed through their LG G5 OLED to the AVR and the TV only accepted 72 Hertz with VRR on.

And surprising to them, enabling VRR doesn't affect the HDMI to VGA converter at all.

So the TV gets video as well, but it keeps constantly dropping in and out like the AVR is losing audio.
