Of course, we'll take your questions in the second half of the show, but in the first half of this show, I'm just gonna give you a little overview of what we have going on in the team right now.
Um, everybody wants to talk about Malik Willis, but I'll be completely honest with you, when you watch the All-22, you watch the All-22 and it's not so much that it's about Malik Willis.
He's, like, the victim of some of the things that are going on with this offense.
First of all, they have a right tackle, and I'm gonna list them for you in n- in no particular order, okay? They have a right tackle in Austin Jackson, who is just having a horrific season, and I mean horrific.
Like, are there, are there instances where he's kinda doing his job and he's not hurting the team? Yeah.
Are there instances where he's actually flat out hurting the team five out of six snaps? Yes, and that's something that we saw against the Chiefs.
As far as the rest of the offensive line, some of these guys have had their issues.
Yes, he is a little late on some of his throws and on some of his reads, but his main issue is his footwork, and it's not his footwork on delivery of the football.
It's his footwork marrying to the routes that he... that they're running for him.
If you noticed, right before halftime of the last game, he got into a little bit of rhythm, and everybody's thinking right away, because nobody wants to actually watch the All-22.
Everybody just likes bitching without the information, right? So everybody just thinks, "Oh, you know, it's, you know, it's, uh...
You're going up against, like, a prevent defense, so it's easy." No, no, not necessarily, okay? The, the Bengals were running their, their regular defense, the same defense that was stopping him for the most part in that entire first half, the same defense that had the two interceptions against the one completion, okay? The only difference was that the Dolphins were employing a quick game.
Now, why did they have some success there? Because every quarterback knows where you're dropping on the quick game because that ball has to be out.
