Maha ShaktiGuestDevotees are saying, "Oh, when will I get Krishna's mercy? What is it gonna take? When will it happen? Um, I'm so far away from it.
Um, I wish it would come into my life." [coughs] But the way that I see it is that Krishna's mercy is there all the time.
Mm-hmm.
He's offering it to us.
Uh, what to speak of if we already know about Maha Mantra and, and Bhagavatam and, and so on.
We've-- It, it's all around us.
It's just waiting there begging to be accepted.
So the question is, the way that I see Bhakti working is that we need to let go of things to receive the mercy.
You know, that's trinadapi sunicena, right? It's like be humble, be tolerant, stop worrying about being praised and being the center of the attention, honor other people and then that you'll receive that mercy.
You know? Um, and so the way that it works is if we're, if we're trying to develop that prema and if we're trying to become the servants of the servants, then the opportunities to receive that mercy are always there.
And what Krishna is working through the devotees and working through the material energy to invite us to let go of something that's presenting us from receiving it.
And, uh, so in that way, e- everything that's happening in our life can be seen in that context, and commonly it happens through, uh, difficulties in relationships or difficulties with health or difficulties with circumstance, that the devotee is seeing Krishna's working in my life so that I, so that I c-- rather than trying to adjust, rather than trying to, um, bend it towards my will, that I learn to let go and receive Krishna's mercy.
S- you know, put, put down what I'm holding onto so that I can accept it.
And so that's-- kind of advancement looks something like that, you know? "Oh, I gotta let go, I gotta let go." And, and gradually you let go of so much resentment, so much animosity, so much fear, uh, that you're actually finally receiving the mercy that's been coming through the, the shastra and the holy name and the devotees all along.
Um, now you can actually, uh, you know, have the space to accept it.
