The Timberwolves Have a Wild First Week Ahead

I'll come back to Baron J. I want to go back to one thing you said, too.

This team is so different than the teams we've watched over the past three or four years, and the NBA goes in certain different rhythms back and forth.

We came out of the small ball era and the Timberwolves at the tail end of this traded for Rudy Gobert and leaned into twin towers, double big.

And at the time everyone was still in the small ball golden state era.

They had just won a title.

Uh, now over the past couple of years, the center position has really come back and is alive and well, again, and the Timberwolves make a trade to go back to more perimeter orientated shooting.

Uh, and it's going to be really interesting.

A team like Miami that's going to double down, kind of like the Timberwolves did a few years ago.

Can the Wolves be that good as a perimeter shooting team? Where, sure, you can take the easy bucket.

Yeah, sure, you can go at your own Baron J, but we're going to just shoot a three-pointer.

We're going to, we're going to outscore you because our math problem is better than your math.

Uh, we're, we're, we're just, we're going to hit more shots than you are going to hit more shots.

Uh, so I'm interested to see how that play out.

Uh, and I agree with you.

This is the best shooting talent we've seen since clay and step.

Uh, so back to Baron J as well.

Uh,

Can I say one thing before we go back to Barron? Yeah,

go

ahead.

Yeah.

So another thing I want to highlight as well is because I think the way it's been covered is that Minnesota against 30 NBA teams every postseason just had this physical matchup advantage.

So they were always wrecking their will on the glass and they were doing this and doing that.

Like if we watch a Timberwolves the last five years, here's the reality.

We played more physical teams.
