KAʻANAPALI BEACH RESORT & HAWAIʻI FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL — PART 1 OF 5

Welcome back.

It is the What's Cooking Today show, the nation's food, wine, travel, health, wealth, and entertainment show.

I'm Jennifer Horn.

Happy to be in today and just missing my Mai Tai as we get to celebrate Anapali Beach on the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii.

And of course, celebrating the 16th annual Hawaii Food and Wine Festival festivities kicking off this weekend on Maui.

And one of the participating properties is...

Really, I think one of the most unique and fun properties to explore while you're in Kaanapali, the Royal Lahaina, is on the other side of Black Rock.

So if you're looking for maybe a little more quiet.

Maybe a little more relaxing? You want to hear the sway of the palm trees? Well, you should head over to the Royal Lahaina.

Plus, they've got a great luau and great dining opportunities.

We'll talk about it all with Stephen Hink.

He's the general manager of the Royal Lahaina Resort and Bungalows.

Check him out, royallahaina.com. And Stephen, thanks so much for being with us.

Welcome back to the What's Cooking Today show.

Well, I'm really excited to be back for my second or third time.

So really excited to be here with you guys and looking forward to a fantastic weekend coming up.

And you guys are going to be one of the hosts for the Sunday event.

And the Sunday event is No Egg Excuses.

Get it? Let's Brunch.

This is going to be a brunch featuring six chefs.

Tell us about this.

And then we're going to talk about your property.

But talk about your participation this year, Stephen.

Well, this is our, I think, third or fourth time that we participated with the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival and super, super excited.

Festivities kick off, of course, on Friday with the inaugural Roy Yamaguchi Golf Tournament.
