Episode 137 — Crazy Wine!

So, Matt.

Yes.

She decided, she goes, I want to plant a vineyard.

Yeah.

And did you go, in your head, go, oh, crap.

No, actually, at the time, I, prior to, um, Before we met, and then at the beginning, when she said she wanted to plant a vineyard and start a winery, I traveled a lot.

I had a couple jobs where I traveled state to state.

So I mean, I didn't have really much to do.

So when she said she wanted to start this, then I was like, okay, well, only thing I want is I traveled.

Since I got to travel, I got to go to a lot of really unique beer gardens and breweries.

And one of them stuck out in my mind most is in Virginia.

A friend of mine took me

up there when I was up there visiting

her.

and her

husband um and it was very open atmosphere you could they had long games they had a big fire pit that you could the kids could get um like uh s'mores package kits and then so that was in the middle and it was all these yard lawn chairs around the fire pit Off to the left, they had the beer shack.

And off to the right, they had a smoke shack where you could buy like turkey on a stick, sauce on a stick.

That's it.

The restaurant and the brewery was behind all that.

And then in front of that was these huge like amphitheater yards with an amphitheater in the corner.

And then they had yard games.

So kids would come, they could run and play and have fun.

Adults could go grab a drink, grab something from the smoke shack and sit by the fire.

Being in Virginia, it's a little cool in there, but it's also up in the mountains.

So that was one of the ones that really stuck out to me the most.
