Um, and there are people who kind of come after the, the failed 1848, uh, they're the, they're the 48ers and they bring this kind of radical, oftentimes utopian version of socialism, um, to texas um so there is this kind of uh you know czech and german community in texas that was very very socialist um you know it's interesting the way it develops because on one level um you know people kind of look at that and say well that's the genealogy and that's the history but i would kind of see it as something that's happening in addition to a radicalization of the um like American or the Southerners who are moving to Texas, who are also coming towards the Socialist Party.
