Episode 181: Manhunter w/ special guest Mansfield's mom Tammy

Before we jump in, let's talk through some recommendations that we might have.

Just other horror-related media, movies, TV shows, books, comics, video games.

Just anything else we've been kinda diving into and enjoying that we wanna recommend.

So Mother, let's start with you.

What have you been checking out lately? I know you just got done with your big Mardi Gras show.

Like, that's all done, and I know I've mentioned on the show in the past, and I know you mentioned, like, you do music theater stuff, so that eats up a ton of your time.

But-

Yeah

...

while you're working at home, you also constantly have [laughs] shit rolling on the TV in the background.

So you do watch a bunch of stuff.

I am never without the TV on.

It's just in the background all the time.

Because I've been writing so many charts and sewing so many costumes recently, I like to watch things that I've already seen before-

Yeah

... because I already know what's gonna happen, and I don't have to really pay attention to them.

So I've literally gone back all the way to the first, first season, like the one you never could get in America, of Great British Bake Off, and I've been kind of plowing-

[laughs]

... through that whole thing, you know, while I've been sewing costumes.

But the most recent horror thing that I did take a minute to stop and watch was because your brother sent it to me, Josiah.

It was, um, Bring Her Back.

Yeah.

[tense music]

We're gonna put you with a foster mom called Laura.

You're gonna love her.
