There's some stuff that I was able to enjoy for just enjoyment's sake more so than just, like, the actual quality of the show.

I'd recognize him.

But funny enough, the first ever actor to play live action Hannibal Lecter was Brian Cox.

He plays him in that movie when he's all locked up.

They're good supporting characters, but they're also good on their own.

We have Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker, Leslie Bibb, and other actors that...

You know, they're more character actors, but some of them are more recognizable than others.

That's immaterial.

But this is all at the same time, which one of your favorite characters from – new york ripper yeah right so we get to see new york ripper we actually play by

because at the end of at the end of uh season one the the cops also get the files right yeah new york ripper file is there so they know who it is and they're trying to pin it on him he's an old guy in a wheelchair they can't pin it on him

yeah you there's a scene where uh brian cox the new york river is in the police station and they're trying to pin something on them it's like his fourth time there yeah it's like his fourth time there and they can't and basically The head of the police is telling him, like, leave him alone.

Like, unless you got something, drop it, you know? And the girl detective, what is her name?

You've seen Manhunter, right? So do you prefer Brian Cox as Lector or Anthony Hopkins? Was that?

I prefer Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Lecter on the TV show.

Fair enough.

Hopkins was much bigger, right? Yeah, he was.

And Cox's is much more – I don't know.

I enjoy Brian Cox's version.

It's more – I don't know if reserved is the right term, but it's more natural than Hopkins' kind of

There's new interviews with Michael Mann and Brian Cox.

A restoration feature, stuff like that's not present on the Vinegar Syndrome release, although it looks like they have some legacy commentaries on the VS release, plus a new interview with visual consultant Guzmanos Susaredi, and then totally separate essays, I believe, between the two releases.

Does anybody out there know what this drink is? Or is this some kind of a clue or something that we're supposed to be picking up on? I think though my favorite thing that Brian Cox as the New York Ripper did in this episode was when the fangirl wanted to take a picture, he's like, say rip it.

He is so unhinged and playing this part so well.

Which is very similar.

Yeah, that has Emile Hirsch and Brian Cox, and they're basically doing a forensic investigation, an autopsy on a young girl who died, and they don't know where she came from, how she got there, how she died.

And watching that unravel, that is one of my favorites.

We're going to have to review it at some point.
