his foster parents I love the very I'm going to say cheesy but that sounds like it's negative but the sort of deliberately gothic hammer style of the vampires in this as well it's lovely and I think it's playing into time constraints and budget that they kind they just go for that big Bela Lugosi big hair big teeth the capes type vampires i love that it's the kind of shorthand that really really works especially in a story like this where actually the first two-thirds of the story are basically quite an emotional drama really and i love larry drake i'm a big fan of larry drake when i was growing up i what was it it was um wasn't he was he in 30 something Or L.A. So you could have taken out, with just a few tweaks, you could take out a black janitor and make him a mentally handicapped one, like a Larry Drake from... dark night of the scarecrow type, or, you know, like the, the guy from home alone, what's his name? Blossoms Roberts, you know, like where he looks scary, but it turns out he's just a big softy or, you know, you could, you could change all these things out and it wouldn't actually change the trajectory of the movie for the most part, even with something as big as like revealings, the town's racism, it really wouldn't change how the actual, how you still get to the last act.
