Now the last few days I've been focusing on ownership groups and just like what they've been doing and specifically what's been going on with the Lakers.

Now With Mark Walters selling of the Lakers with a little over a year of ownership, apparently it has a lot to do with his federal investigation into fraud.

And apparently this also has to do with or is one of the main reasons why the Dodgers are able to sign guys like Shohei Otani, Blake Snell.

The point is they were offered, or excuse me, Walter was offered $12.5 billion for all his shares in the Lakers.

Not only because you make a godfather offer like $12.5 billion for a team that just sold for $10 less than 18 months ago.

His name was Chris Cohen, and he didn't put a lot of interest into making the Warriors successful.

What was it? Sold it for around what? I think it was around $400 million at the time, selling it to Joe Lacob and Peter Gruber.
