Now, I was scrolling TikTok the other day and I happened to come across a very interesting TikTok of, I guess, a clip of Gilbert Arenas' podcast, Gil's Arenas.

And looking at it, I'm looking at his numbers, him versus Klay, and I got to admit, they're on to something.

And I've been saying, we've all known this for a while, that Klay has had a very long leash.

Now, looking at it overall, though, Like from season by season, all the seasons since Clay left, including the first season they played together, his numbers have slowly improved from 9 to 12 to 14 points per game.

And then averaging five rebounds to go along with those nearly 14 points and nearly four assists.

But if you're going to be that guy, you've got to give me something that says, OK, I am that guy.

Pajemski being that number two guy and on top of that you think back of that first year where Pajemski and Clay Thompson played together and thinking back to it it was a very weird year it was the year after the punch happened between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole they had just dealt Jordan Poole to Washington in exchange for Chris Paul and Chris Paul and Steph Curry were were easily the most awkward pairing in the NBA.

Now, Chris Paul was on the last year of a very large expiring deal that he signed with Phoenix, so there was that upside.

You can't put two – like it's like putting two sides of an A – or like the plus minus – the two plus sides of the same battery or of two batteries together and expecting there to be a current.
