I mean, well, maybe my personal beliefs have like some bearing on it, but it's not Republican, Democrat, liberal, conservative politics.
kind of thing is it's it's uh it's something that is like a business dispute or whatever like land use issue i mean i mentioned city council most that stuff really has nothing to do with republicans or democrats right um it's like should you build this thing or should you not build the thing i would say i
yeah like i would say this I, when I started this business almost 15 years ago, I would take basically anything.
So if you came to me, it doesn't really matter as long as it's not like illegal or like horrible and hateful, like I would do it because you're starting a business, right? um you are a business person yeah you're a business person you presumably work for whoever pays the bills right i mean i
was a window cleaning company that would i mean i would rip your shrubs out you know i i would do anything in the beginning you asked me to do it when i didn't yeah exactly and that's what you're
doing when you hustle now i would say i'm a little more selective now now to be clear i adam swart do not have to 100 agree with you um but i have to feel like there's merit to your position you know what i mean like as in i'm not diametrically opposed so great example is like i've been working with the crypto industry for a long time and like when they were like a very alternate field like now they're mainstream but um and i own zero crypto and i've never owned crypto in my entire life right um so i'm not a supporter like i'm not a crypto bro of any stripe right but when i started working with them i felt that they were being discriminated against by the financial services sector so even though i thought crypto was kind of weird i didn't know much about it what i did see is it felt like things were rigged against them And I felt like they deserved an advocate.
So who hired you to do that, though? Or is that like a pet project that you tried to get support from?
Well, it's people, my understanding, and sometimes I don't know everyone who's backing something, but my understanding is it's people who actually made a lot of money from Facebook, but it turned into Frankenstein.
