Yeah, I think that's, that's really true, and that, that was actually kind of the first thing I wanted to talk about, is just dealing with size and strength.

So their two preseason losses, not that the actual outcomes of the game [laughs] necessarily matter.

But both of those, the times they've ended up losing, have been against bigger teams that beat them up down low.

And I, I texted a buddy halfway through the game, or halfway through the first half, like, "Jalen Duren's good." Like, I don't know what the heck happened in the playoffs last year, and we can quibble on certainly Detroit probably made the right decision not, like, going up to the full max after he made All-NBA, but, like, [laughs] I don't know.

They're, I mean, they went from one of the bigger teams in the league, especially, like, the Kat and, Kat and Gobert version, to playing more, like, small forwards at the, at the power forward spot.
You know that I am more bullish on this team than, like, any other team I've done in the last 10 years, but that doesn't mean it's perfect, right? Like, it doesn't...
I think this roster has a mistake in it that there's just so many guards, and like you said, small forwards, trying to play as power forwards.
Um, like I, I thought Kuminga actually last night looked really, really good, and I think he's gonna be a big part of this, but I still don't think he's what I think of as a power forward, or, like, as a tr...
You know? There's just some lack of size, and I think, to your point earlier about, like, Kat and Rudy, Julius and Rudy, now it's, like, Kuminga and Rudy, and it just, they're, they're missing, like, a bench guy.
This is not the player that you'd want, 'cause I think he's retired, but, like, I'm missing, like, a Kenneth Faried, [laughs] or, like, a, a big that can just go get rebounds, has some athleticism, but can just kind of bang a little bit.
Because, you know, I think LaMelo last night had some good moments, but they really flustered him with some, not two-way guys, but some lower bench guys.
That's gonna be something that a lot of teams do, is just pick those guys up full court and make them beat you.
But the physicality really stood out, because the Wolves didn't really have a counter for that off the bench of, like, I don't think you would say Ayo Dosunmu is, like, a physical player.
