What Voters Are Already Telling Us | Unfiltered

Richard, there's something else that's changed in our politics.

And it's not just the, the polling or the midterms coming up and all of these things, but last week, Charles Barkley got on a podcast.

And I'm sure you're familiar, he's a former NBA star.

And I was watching clips of it.

And what he said I thought about a lot, because he was talking about Donald Trump and talking about the fact that our president has made it more acceptable for people in America.

to express racist attitudes, to be racist, basically.

Publicly, publicly.

Right.

Without any consequences.

And that our culture has shifted the boundaries of what's acceptable.

And he said it in a way that was, it's not just the president has made decisions racist attitudes publicly okay, but almost to the point where there's a section of society that champions this

now,

that is proud of it.

And that is a big change.

I wanted to get your take on that.

And as I thought about this comment from Charles Barkley, I also thought about it in terms of sexism,

too.

Oh, yeah.

I was hoping you were not going there.

That this

president has done the same thing when it comes to the treatment of women in public life and in America.

Your thoughts?

Okay, so there's a lot that I'm going to say here.

I'm going to try to say it as succinctly as I can.

Amy, you, as a fighter pilot in our military, you've been in certain circles that many people will never be in.
