Do you feel like that's a just ranking or should it be a little bit higher considering what happened last year? What you got for me, Spoon?
I think anytime you got a good quarterback, then the columnist, all the journalists and everybody, they got to kind of cover themselves by saying this team is a team to look out for.
Maybe not in the top half of it, but I think we got some talent coming back that's got a little bit of experience.
And I think this quarterback play is going to be key to us being the team that we all believe we can be.
So it's pretty cool to be in the number, not where you want to be, but hey.
Are we too high or too low? Here's the deal, I don't necessarily believe that we deserve to be ranked, for real, for real.
I think they are projecting what we have coming back, kind of what we got in the portal, incoming freshman class.
You know, and I'll say the last year, right, like we were really close to winning some of those games.
But at some point, you got to start winning those games too, right? So for me, I don't put too much stock in the preseason rankings.
You know, I know that, you know, we looked at the schedule and I think we got five top ten teams.
But at the end of the day, like, I mean, are they going to be there when we get there? We'll see.
