NFL Preseason

I'm like, yeah, everybody's going.

Preseason's going to the wayside.

Let it for the backups, the young play, I guess, or whoever.

I'm in favor with Rod.

That might be the greatest preseason debut of any player ever anywhere.

Brady Kachuk, two goals and an assist in a fight last night for the Florida Panthers.

Preseason hockey? I know, I know, I know.

The Regina Pats were 7-0 in the preseason, and they go out and they lose their first game.

Preseason hockey means nothing.

Let's just drop the puck and let's go.

Though Nakua is listed on the injury report with a hip injury, McVay described it as some soreness in Nakua's groin that popped up following Thursday's practice.

McVay said it's a different injury from the psoas from the preseason.

So, for those of you who may not remember all the way, Puka Nakua did have a psoas injury, which is something with the groin.

I don't know exactly if there's any medical professionals in the comments, sports medicine professionals.

abdul carter had a strong end to his rookie year last year looking to have a strong year two of arval reese top five pick in this year's draft and they still have cave on thibodeau as a rotational guy it was a top five pick a few years ago i still think he will be a great player in this league maybe not for the giants but for another team and this offensive line is going to have to be ready especially without puka nikua you're going to have to find some ways to stretch the field but obviously the main guy that's going to have to step up in Pukunukuwa's absence is going to be Devontae Adams.

Now, we know what Devontae Adams brings to the table as a wide receiver.

We know what he's going to do in the red zone when targeted, but in week one, it just wasn't a good connection once again with Matthew Stafford, and that was really concerning because something Josh and I were both talking about in a lot of videos heading into this season was Stafford's healthy this preseason, and so is Devontae.

They've had the practice reps this year that they didn't have.

I mean, they find many ways.

In preseason they'll be throwing it down the field because he's putting plays in even during preseason games.

So, you know, Bo Nix, the pressure just going to Monday, when they play Monday or Sunday night, whatever night that wa- or Monday night, is, uh, they were not separating the wide receivers.

That hurt him.

And to their benefit.

Preseason doesn't show.

It doesn't.

It's more mentally.

Yeah, the MW at the top half of the league is no joke.

And I think the unfortunate thing for Hawaii, and again, Preseason polls, we don't try to put too much into it, but as it turns out, these teams that have been preseason ranked top Hawaii, above Hawaii, which came in at number five, every one of them Hawaii plays on the road.

And so they're not doing a home-and-home type of schedule.

It is two matches either at home against the same team for Hawaii or on the road against the same team.

And all four teams that are...

Preseason ranked above them.

That's UTEP, UC Davis, Wyoming, and Grand Canyon.

All four of those Hawaii plays on the road this season.

We'll get to that.

But can the Rams and the 49ers play football that's not marred by turnovers, false starts, penalties, and just bad play? Preseason football.

No one's playing it anymore.

And last night was an uh-oh for me about what week one could look like in the NFL.

He was playing really damn good.

Uh, and, and but at the same time, he hadn't played in the preseason game.

And, and then Drew came in, drafted high, and I thought he really got better throughout camp and played really good in the preseason." He says, "Preseason's tough for a lot of reasons, but you're playing, especially when you're in the fourth quarter, with a lot of guys that aren't actually making the roster, some guys that aren't even the, making the practice squad.

He says, "You know, they've got a great quarterback coach in Tom Arth, who was an old teammate of mine going way back, and he's been a head coach at college level for a number of different places.

And then obviously Mike McCarthy and his track re- record with the quarterbacks, you know it's not surprising to look at the future and know that those two are going to be part of what the Steelers do at quarterback once they put me out to pasture.
