So what informs the lyrics in this band? What are you writing about or what inspires you?
Daily life.
Yeah, heartbreak.
Poetry.
Love.
Poetry.
We have a lot of love songs.
Oh, nice.
And we like to write love songs, but they still have that edge to it.
Yeah, the grunge to it.
The grunge to it.
We've written about politics as well in the past, you know.
Yeah.
A little bit rebellious at times.
Nice.
Yeah, well, I was born in the 80s, and I was a youth in the 90s, so the grunge movement was a heavy influence in my life, and also...
the uh british rock like oasis oh right yeah yeah yeah so uh i kind of uh when i was in high school in mexico i tried to learn how to play the guitar uh i was just too hyper couldn't couldn't make it happen right right until i moved to the states and i had no friends so i found the time to finally start you know learning chords and stuff yeah nice funny
how that is For me, in the drum department, it's funny, I listen to a lot of types of music from heavy rock to classical music to jazz to blues.
So it's very... hard for me to gravitate to somebody that I actually got a lot from.
I think just listening to overall a lot of music just wanted me, it made me want to play music.
I just didn't know what.
I just kind of became a drummer because rhythm was kind of the thing that I related in all types of music.
