And then you're going to ride in the limo with them to the Kings game and you're going to shoot them at the Kings game.

I think it's the podcast that just came up this week that I did.

I recorded it last week with the pyro guy from Slayer.

And so he was talking about touring with Slayer and doing their pyro.

What are you going to do? What are you going to do? So,

not to add fuel to the fire, but last time I saw David in person, I was highly encouraging him to revisit bands that he has not really fallen in love with, such as Anthrax and Slayer.

And a couple days later, he texted me where he might not be so into Belladonna, right? What?

Yeah, I mean, I'm just young enough compared to you guys that I was getting into metal as Thrash was ending and Death Metal was taking off, and I didn't really go backwards from that point forward.

So it's really hard for me sometimes to get into big bands that kind of do the more 80s style operatic vocals.

I mean, same, you know, I, I didn't get into Slayer and Metallica until the two thousands.

Um, and exactly for that reason.

And obviously it's not an age thing for me.

Taproot or whatever when Beer Factory are right like no one you know suddenly people didn't really care about Machine Head they didn't care about Biohazard they didn't all these bands that I thought you know like I chuck in all the bands that I've mentioned from that kind of I guess the class of 93 to

96 none of them seem to establish themselves in the way that Metallica did Slayer did even Pantera did but then Pantera separate to all this and they were obviously huge in America And Machine Head were never that big in America.

Maybe that's the big problem.

Maybe these bands had to come to Europe to really establish themselves.

I don't think Biohazard were as big in the States as they were here.

Maybe it's Roadrunner and the press focusing them over here and not giving them that basis, that real basis in America that Pantera had and Slayer had and Mataga had.

Well, you look at... you know, Korn are the band really that changed the whole trajectory of where metal goes.

And they're the only ones of those bands really.

Cause like, oh, we love Hatebreed.

We love Slayer.

Yeah.

It's like, oh yeah, that's metal and hardcore.

Yeah.

Yeah, we'll get into it later when we get into what we're talking about today.

It was just cool because he was like, we love shit like Korn, and we love Slayer, but I love punk and hardcore.

I love Minor Threat.

saw that with like, when I was growing up, a lot of the elders were like, oh, man, like, you got to check out Metallica.

You got to check out Slayer.

And the people older than them would be like, you know, oh, you got to check out Led Zeppelin.

You got to check out, you know, Thin Lizzy.

And my other point I was going to raise, because you mentioned Burnout.

Did you know that they've released a Star Wars racing game in the past couple of weeks? Biddy Boogie, whatever his name is.

And I was quite into heavier music when I was younger.

So I loved Metallica and Megadeth and Slayer, things like that.

But then I also loved Nirvana and Soundgarden was one of my all-time favorite bands.

And so anything from that period of time in the 90s was just where CDs were taking over.
