The Huxleys on our queer musical bloodlines

you recall possibly a surprise favorite from each other's mixtapes like something that you were just you just didn't see coming on that mixtape garrett put dead or alive on my mixtape

pete burns and people love peter it's so aggressive it it's and i think i put divinus

Yeah.

You gave me divine, which I'd loved.

Yeah.

But yeah.

And they were equally both like you, Pete burns and divine the way they've seen him

perform is

so

aggressive and

it's

so unmistakable.

Also, they're not the kind of music that you can play in the background.

That's what was so shocking about having both of them on our mixtapes, is that they demand attention, like, full on.

I think they're both pretty much yelling when they sing.

I worship at

the church of Pete Burns.

Truly.

Oh, so do

I.

There was another artist that Garrett introduced me to that I'd never heard of, a French group called La Rita Mazzucco.

And they're so creative and so bizarre and...

And I was so, I felt really privileged that he'd shared that with me because it was kind of like something that he'd kind of hidden for himself, kept for himself.

I didn't share Larrida Mazzucco with many people.

And before I met Dara, I hadn't met anyone that also loved the music of Grace Jones.
