It was produced and composed by Patrick Cowley, a queer electronic music pioneer and frequent collaborator of Sylvester, who's also featured on the track.

Both men lived in the Castro and died of AIDS in their homes.

Patrick in 1982 and Sylvester in 1988.

Is, is kind of influenced by this type of music that she's making.

Um, and, uh, Patrick Cowley is another one that pops up in this.

He's, he's an interesting guy who, um, started by making music for gay porn and, and then uh people heard it we're like man you're really good like hey you know you're better i mean i don't want to downplay gay porn but like you're better than this but like you could do concerts and stuff and so he does he gets into music in a much bigger way and um sadly he dies in the early 80s is one of the earliest people to die from aids oh wow um it was at the time where they had no idea what was going with it's like what is going on And so they sent him home just saying, we don't know what to do.

We just got to go be sick somewhere else.
