And indeed, he does draw on conversations with Kate Bush when elucidating the genesis and the development of songs like Hello Earth, and Running Up That Hill, Deal With God, Cloudbusting.

You know, there are plenty of quotes from Kate herself.

And then she just went weird.

I mean, the dreaming is so far out.

And the funny thing is that the kick inside, sorry, the Hounds of Love is even further out.

But it had some banging hit singles on it that brought people in.

How

about a post-punk indie rock band and one from my teenage years? They are called The Future Heads and they formed in Sunderland in the year 2000 and had a big, buzzy indie hit with their cover of Kate Bush's Hounds of Love.

They took a break in 2015 after releasing five albums, but reunited in 2019 for a new one.

They then released a Christmas album last year, which is really worth checking out with covers and a few originals.
