Live from UNGA with David Beasley

Are you struck, having accomplished this feat of raising funds for the World Food Program, for raising its profile, what do you make of the fact that That support has not endured.

Not

endured.

In other words, been ripped and cut and destroyed.

It's horrific.

It's one of the worst things I've seen in American history.

Children are dying.

Nations are destabilizing.

And it's very unfortunate.

That's not the America that I know.

America is great because America is good.

And if we ever cease to be good, we cease to be great.

And right now, we're not being good.

You can't be great if you're not good.

And that's, that's a reality.

I'm traveling even to this day around the world and the children that are, that are starving and struggling and the extremist groups that are exploiting this.

You're not seeing that on the media.

It's not easy.

I mean, that's why I was out there every day and every night, you know, because these congressmen, they got so many distractions about this and this and this, and it's not easy, but humanity is at stake.

And when I tweeted some powerful tweets, One to Putin.

I mean, a bunch of tweets I did.

Can we talk about the Elon Musk tweet at some point? I was going to say I had two tweets that were heard around the world.

And then I had a lot of my friends in Washington didn't want me tweeting on this.

So, you know, it's amazing, you know, how it works.

And with Elon Musk, I tweeted because that was in the height of COVID.
