And it's, you can, what is it? You can take the boy out of the bay, but you can't take the bay out of the boy, is it?

Now, if there is, you know, how do I put it? Like an ingredient in Newfoundland that you'd love for everyone to be able to try.

that would be accessible for everyone that they just can't get? What do you think it is?

I know we have moose all across Canada, but getting your hands on some, it's not easy.

yeah i'm like you know what do i what do i say here it's um yeah it's uh snow crab right now is unreal but in the fall a nice piece of moose and again codfish when it's on point it's it's you know to me it's it's stand up to any fish in the world hands down you know so it's uh to be able to go out and hand line a cod and come in and You know, we stew out the whole fish.

And it's been such a big part of our history for... generations you know we are cod basically but there's so many other things to do with it than just fish and chips so it's uh yeah for me i love working with codfish and working with the livers and the cod roe and the tongues and the cheeks and you know the list goes on and on and uh yeah it's uh we could spend days talking about codfish and uh yeah it's it's a it's a big part of our lives for sure

I was listening to Laurie McCarthy talk to Hank Shaw on a podcast, and she was talking about fish and how in Newfoundland, fish, you go to order fish, is cod.
