Is that something that like, does that weigh on you? Do you feel, is it kind of exhausting or?

No, I really embrace it, you know, because like I said, I'm very, very passionate Newfoundland, Labradorian and, you know, Newfoundland, it's a magical place.

And again, I think for many years, it was kind of like, you know, an afterthought in Canada.

People were like, you know, very stereotypical about it.

And when I came back to Sir to cook and, you know, I did some time at Michael Statlander at his firm and, you know, he really kind of gave me the inspiration and the, well, the inspiration, but also the confidence to really showcase Newfoundland food and be, feel confident about it and feel proud of that, you know? And when I came back, I really wanted to, again, put my best foot forward and show the rest of Canada how special we, you know, how special Newfoundland is and Labrador is.

It's, you know, we're the ones, you know, with some of the best products in the country, hands down.

And it's, you know, so I was really excited and proud to be able to show that to everybody.

Who did you write this book for? Is this for people to, like, see the best of what Newfoundland can be? Or what was your intention with this book?

I got, I gotta make my way across the island this week and, uh, head up to that game.

And, um, yeah, it's, it's, uh, it's nothing, nothing beats going to the Bell Center, you know? And, and, uh, that energy and that stadium, it's, it's, uh, there's nothing like it.

I, I, you know, I've been to many rinks around the NHL, fortunately, and, uh, I mean, it's, it's, it's, uh, night and day when it comes to, uh, the Bell Center and, and, uh, other places.

But, uh, and I think, you know, players love to play there.

It's, you know, on Tuesday night the place is packed, going crazy.

Uh, but what are you doing specifically these days, just to catch up?
