So my first link that I want to talk about is from Steve Toth.

I mentioned him so much on

this podcast.

He's been

on my show too.

He's great.

He's just freaking brilliant.

I'm sure you talk about him all the time too.

But he's basically hacked AI overviews with LinkedIn hashtags.

So...

It's a really amazing little thing that he discovered that if you make a post on LinkedIn and you basically put in the caption just these hashtags, then it will surface in AI overviews really quickly.

And in this post, he outlines the process.

So the first thing you do is you need to pick a query where Google already shows LinkedIn posts.

So some kind of query, LinkedIn posts are already showing up there.

Now, write the query out as leading hashtags.

His example was how to rank YouTube videos in ChatGPT.

So this is like a prompt that someone might type into Google and an AI overview triggers.

So you write it as hashtags.

So each word is a hashtag.

Hashtag how, hashtag to, how to, hashtag rank.

So you write that and then you publish a post on LinkedIn with that information.

And he said that I think it was like 10 minutes.

10 minutes later, he was the number one AI overview result.

And the cool thing that happens here is that when you write your actual caption, LinkedIn system builds the URL slug from the caption.
