Week Wonderful

Before we get to that Week 1 recap, some things to touch on.

A couple of injuries leading into Week 1 in addition to those that happened during the Week 1 games.

And no, I'm not talking about myself.

Healing up just fine.

Thank you very much.

The Falcons lost both of their potential starting quarterbacks in Tua Tungavailoa and Michael Penix Jr., which gave Cooper Rush the nod and gave me all the confidence in the world to bet on Pittsburgh, who eked out a victory.

Thank goodness.

Picked him in my survivor pools.

Sweating it for a while.

Aaron Donald was ruled out after making his much-anticipated comeback.

Didn't play in Week 1. which segues right into another Ram who got injured during Week 1, Miles Garrett.

Looks like he'll be sidelined for a while, having to undergo a minor knee surgery.

During those Week 1 contests, we also lost A.J. Brown.

More on him in a minute.

Sam Darnold goes down a couple plays into the Seahawks' first game.

Zay Flowers came up limp after a monster first half.

Talk about him in a while as well.

Ladd McConkie got his organs restructured during that Chargers loss.

And Kyler Murray almost got decapitated in his Vikings debut.

Those just the most notable injuries from before week one and during week one.

I'm sure as this between week one and week two time progresses, any lingering issues may come to the surface.

We'll keep an eye on those, I'm sure.

But hey, that's just football.
