Devaughn Vele

Since you brought it up, James, he got graded on some big-time throws.

How many of those big-time throws were bigger-time catches? Because I can think of two to Vele that I didn't think were great throws, but were just because Vele caught them.

Diving catch being one of them? There was two in a row there that...

I thought Vele just made catches that don't get made.

And again, the throw got it there, but I think that that ball is not caught 95% of the time, and then it's not a good

throw.

And the touchdown to Juwan was great, too.

But I have to see what other options I have, which are not great, to be honest.

But if I'm able to get Devon Vele in that offense with Tyler Shuck that, you know, Fab, you were so, NAC, you were so bullish about, I might actually do it.

Just the Coker, Jalen Coker of it all is concerning to me.

And I think you can get by for a couple of weeks with him.

Yeah, I think there's definitely a world where someone in your league drafted Devon Vele.

And even though he had an awesome week one because of where he was drafted, it didn't matter because he was like the first or second guy on that team's bench.

And so he's out there.

Like, I think that this is a really good time to buy Devon Vele because let's say that week six, you no longer really have Devon Vele.

By the time week six rolls around, you're in a 12, 13 person league.

It's three yards over his head.

You know, there's a curl route to Devon Vele.

Easy pitch and catch.

He's throwing it low and away.

Chris Olave, 182 yards and 10 catches, shows how unguarded he can be, even if some of that was, again, soft coverage.

And then Devon Vele had two layout catches.

Again, his athleticism was on display.

I don't know if it was necessary that he laid out the catches, but he certainly did it and looked impressive, so I loved watching it.

You want to see wins, of course.

Gotta shout out both Devon Vele and Jawan Johnson, though.

Really nice pair of strong hands that they might end up having to lean on quite heavily this season.

Chris Alave, don't love seeing him in and out of the lineup already.

I'm going to start adding up too many legitimates, but I'm going to say legitimate.

I still think 16 other receivers or 15 other receivers beat him.

I don't think Vele is going to be top 15.

I just think Vele is going to be a great

But, you know, put him in the position to get a touchdown, which I think was the game tire.

So, like, you know, Chris Olave, Devon Vele looked really good as well.

they should tire out the Saints because they're just much further along in their team evolution than the Saints are

kind of what you expect but the Saints are I'm so glad that they're relevant like this team looks fun like it doesn't even include Jordan Tyson who's probably the most entertaining draft pick you know even though it's the injury issues like to get him on the field will be will be huge but yeah big game um I really enjoyed Devon Vele getting his touchdown as well last week.
