yeah and that ties into you know i'm glad that you said the message that you said because you know you being meaningful money that makes sense right that's the whole point of it right it's about you know meaningful moments you know as part of your money and in terms of like the philosophy of wealth how has that changed from like the start of your career to like now would you say
And my job is to really dig into a client's kind of emotions and psyche and work out what it is that matters and really makes them tick so that we can then position the money accordingly.
Ultimately, I'm more convinced than I've ever been that managing money is dead easy.
There's a few very simple things you need to do consistently, and then the money will look after itself so that you've then got time and you're free to pursue what really matters in life.
And so for me, it's like money isn't the point, whereas when I was younger, it kind of was.
Part of the industry has changed where it was all about sales and products and, you know, targets and bonuses and all that.
Now it's about planning holistic relationship-based work with long-term clients.
And we get to see people's eyes light up when they finally realize that they can retire or that they can take five years out and travel or
whatever.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, so you've seen that switch where it's become more, can I say almost human? Totally.
The industry has moved.
Yeah, the industry has become more human-centered.
Yes, we're helping somebody manage money, but we're doing it around the lifestyle that they want to have in the future.
Yeah, it's got a long way to go, the industry, man.
