Hello, Arizona Cardinals fans, and welcome to the latest edition of the Rise Up Sierra podcast, the best art of Cardinals talk on the web.

I'm your host, Jess Root from CardsWire.com, USA Today's NFL wire site that covers, of course, your Arizona Cardinals as the Cardinals get ready to take on the Los Angeles Rams in week six.

The Rams are a puzzling team, aren't they, so far? They're 2-3, but they're good on offense and they're good on defense.

Yeah, and I think a lot of it is just when these super teams end up happening so often that we've seen, we just see that there becomes this... issue of an inability to really live up to the hype and expectations and now that's not to say that they're not a good team because they are they're a very good team uh they played a tough schedule they've lost you know it's not like they're losing to the cardinals right like unless

they do this week no i'm not predicting that now the granted they do get they do have a A very favorable schedule coming up in the next five weeks before their bye week in week 11.

So honestly, this team could rattle off five wins in a row and be seven and three when they enter the bye.

Right, and that's kind of what everybody's also expecting of them, right? So you look at some different things, and there's just this reality that they haven't lived up to the expectations yet, but...

I think that they're a veteran team and they're a team that it's kind of like, you know, once we get to the playoffs, like we're not really worried about anything.

But, you know, like you said, through five games, two and three, they're a game better than the Arizona Cardinals.

And then they're 20th in points against, right? And so that kind of doesn't compute, right? It doesn't make sense that they move the ball really, really easily.
