This is Igris, and today we are discussing a letter that is, as far as I can tell, not printed anywhere besides Igris.
That is, people haven't picked up on this letter.
It is a very strange letter.
I don't mean strange chas v'shalom in a bad way.
I just mean to tell you that I've never seen anything quite like it.
It actually made me do a bit of a historical deep dive, just to make sure I was understanding it properly.
We are going to use this letter as a base to spin off into a much broader discussion, though.
