Likkutei Sichos

Shalom Aleichem, friends.

Welcome to this week's share in Likutei Sichos, the Rebbe's Magnum Opus, Volume 30, Sichon No. 1 on Vayera.

And this week is a discussion about a very central thing in Judaism, namely that the Jewish people have three defining factors.

It is said, the language is, that the Jewish people have three signs, or three defining factors that define a Jew.

This is a shiur on Likutei Sichos, Chelek Kaf Heh, Book 25 of Likutei Sichos, the Sicha of Noach and Zayin Marcheshvan.

The date of Zayin Marcheshvan always comes out in the week after Shabbat we read the portion of Noach.

According to what we know that the days of the week have a connection to the Shabbos before them, because the Shabbos before them, as the Zohar says, blesses the entire week.

Welcome to this week's Sichot.

Look at the Sichos, uh, Noach seven Marchesvan.

So, uh, the rabbi is going to teach us, A, the tremendous significance of the 7th Marchesvan, which is, uh, an important day, as we'll see, and its linkage to the Torah portion, which it almost always comes on the week of Noach.

Uh, but that'll be the end of the Sicha.

When it comes to Yiddishkeit, the Aibishter takes away his Hashgacha, so to speak.

And the Rebbe writes in the Sichos that this is not-- There's, there's no Hashgacha.

The Hashgacha there too from [Hebrew] which is [Hebrew].

There ain't gonna [Hebrew].

Reish Chodesh Cheshvan, fifty-seven eighty-seven.

And I just want to say that I already shared one of the most incredible Nayach Sichahs, which, Ms. Shapiro, you mentioned is on the Project Likkutei Sichos, um, you know, uh, whatever it is, on their plan for this week.

Okay, we are following the schedule of Project Likkutei Sichos, but I just want to mention again that there's two Sichos on schedule this week.

The other one, if you only have time to listen to one, the other one I think takes priority.

I don't know if this will help you.

It says in Sichos, a similar thing when it get to the sun.

You look at the sun and ask, "What is the sun?" The sun is a bright existence that gives light.

So i-in that sense, the entire existence of the sun is a source of light.

But it says in Sichos that it's not true.

That's one of the aspects of the sun, the fact that the sun gives light.

But the sun itself is an etzem existence.
